She has several years' experience as a strength and conditioning coach at the collegiate level.

To register for the course please visit the USA-Weightlifting page here then select the sport and performance tab, scroll down and select Offutt AFB on 3-4 May.

Level 1 Certification Update.   IMCF hosted 60 athletes this weekend for training from CrossFit HQ.  This two day event included formal briefs, small group practical exercises, 2x WODs and culminated with a written exam.  Members of our IMCF Team and the Fort Leavenworth area comprised over half the seminar group.

Seek these people out...they were just trained by the best!  Now put them to work...

Snatch Session - Thursday

Pack a lunch and join us Thursday from 1130-1300...be warmed up and ready to go. Mark and others will be running a clinic on the Snatch.  Here's a prime opportunity to understand the fundamentals of the lift and give yourself a solid foundation for continued development. There are few of us that will not benefit from attending -- make the most of it!

From Scott, if you missed it in the comment section:
Tentative plan is to go over Key Points of Performance for trainers to cue and then analyze each other under the watchful eye of some of IMCF's immense Oly lifting resources.
This is open to anyone wanting learn how to cue/teach the basics of it, and also for newbies. It's amazing how much you learn just as a fly on the wall seeing interaction and discussions from the coaching/trainers.
I know some of our big lifters with beautiful technique will be there so you can see how it should look in person as well as plenty of us that will give much ammunition for corrections...
Trainers -- spot the gross fault.

1 MAY 13 - Squat Clinic

Join us Wednesday, May 1 from 1630-1730 at the Bubble for our first monthly Skill Seminar. The hour will be spent focusing on refining the squat, to include movement-specific mobility, techniques for improving front and overhead squat technique, and an analysis of your squat performance. Come prepared for an interactive session!

Post to comments if you are planning to attend so we can get a good feel for class size.

We will also introduce our new Monthly Challenge for May at the clinic. More details to follow, but you don't need amazing deductive powers to know what the focus will be...
